Dialogue create a sleek, refined design
The redesigned and refreshed Kalendar magazine – the biannual lifestyle magazine for the South West region of The Jockey Club – has just been released by Archant Dialogue.
With a brief to create a more luxurious version of the existing publication, aligned with The Jockey Club’s race-going audience, Archant Dialogue adopted a sleek, refined design, with a much-increased page count.
Providing readers with a variety of features to interest, inform and encapsulate the glamour, excitement and emotion of horse racing, the first issue includes an exclusive interview with Jilly Cooper as she prepares to embark on her next novel; a visit behind the scenes at a racehorse training ground; and a selection of timepieces and hats to inspire racegoers as they prepare their outfits for a new season of fixtures. The popular hospitality packages available at the South West region’s four racecourses are also covered in detail, assisting those faced with planning a corporate or social event.
The new-look Kalendar adds to Archant Dialogue’s prestigious list of equestrian titles, which includes Royal Ascot, British Eventing, British Showjumping, Blair Castle International Horse Trials, Barbury International Horse Trials, Badminton Horse Trials, Burghley Horse Trials, Horse of the Year Show and Cirencester Park Polo. “We have a wealth of experience and understanding of the equestrian world, through our connections with organisations such as Ascot, Cirencester Park Polo Club and The Jockey Club, and so we were well placed to deliver a luxury publication to be proud of,” said Editor Louise Hoffman.
“We are delighted with the relaunch of Kalendar, the biannual magazine for the South West region of Jockey Club Racecourses. The level of quality in the new version of the magazine is a significant change from previously and working with the team at Archant Dialogue has been really smooth – the magazine was turned around in under a month. There is a good balance of editorial features and information about the racedays in the region and we are looking forward to working with the team again on the next edition,” said Sophia Brudenell, Regional Communications Manager, The Jockey Club.
Kalendar is distributed to 10,000 recipients, including top guests of South West region racecourses, luxury hotels and blue chip companies.
