The winter 2015 edition of the British Automobile Racing Club magazine is out now.
This issue went racing out to club members this month, with the latest news from the club and the motorsport world. Find out about fantastic member benefits, details of the glamorous awards evening coming up in February and discover what the club centres have been up to around the country.
In this issue, we pay a visit to the Macau and its Grand Prix museum. The annual race attracts 80,000 spectators to the city’s street circuit, while the casinos, unique architecture and exotic local cuisine have plenty to offer visitors, petrol head or not.
We also interview Andy Green, the current world land speed record-holder, who will be the driver attempting to go 1,000mph in 2017, covering a mile in just 3.6 seconds – a remarkable man.
Finally, as it’s the winter season, our tyre technician takes a trip down memory lane to a snowy Snetterton circuit visit, featuring more snowman building than racing!
