Job vacancy: Content Editor

Time for a change? We have an exciting job opportunity for a content editor to create a number of magazine titles and associated digital content.

Working with leading global brands, the successful applicant will be comfortable researching, writing and commissioning about a variety of subjects, with particular focus on automotive and lifestyle.

Archant Dialogue is the content agency division of Archant. Working on behalf of a number of prestige brands, we craft content for print and digital as well as design, build and manage websites, e-newsletters, promotional material and social media campaigns.

We are looking for a content editor to edit a minimum of four magazine titles over the year with varying frequencies, and creating associated cross-platform content.

This involves generating ideas, writing feature and news copy, commissioning content, taking in client corrections and playing an integral role in the wider editorial team.

The challenge is to deliver quality magazines across print and digital, to deadline, and to maintain a flexible and creative approach with a high level of attention to detail to produce the best results for the client.

The successful applicant will be comfortable researching and writing about a variety of subjects, with particular focus on automotive, lifestyle and business. Attention to detail is essential and a calm confidence in multi-tasking will be an advantage.


You will have one or two years relevant publishing experience, either B2B or consumer, enabling you to write well at speed, have strong research skills, and some digital knowledge. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a broad range of interests, are resourceful, and carefully think intelligently about everything you do.
