Dialogue has been appointed by Central England Co-operative as a content agency to revitalise key customer engagement channels, both in print and online.
Dialogue won the business in a competitive pitch, and the win builds on Dialogue’s expertise in driving community engagement through content for retailers and other clients.
Central England Co-operative is one of the largest independent UK retail societies employing over 8,600 people, with projected gross sales of £958 million for 2016/17.
The new My Central England Co-op magazine’s news and features – with output spanning the group’s many offerings including grocery, funerals and travel – are also being delivered on a fully responsive website that has been created by Dialogue. This will be developed over the coming months alongside Central England Co-operative’s extensive owned content delivery.
Both My Co-op magazine and phase one of the website launched in June, with content focusing on seasonality, sustainability, local produce and the Co-operative values of community, participation and education – providing inspiration and interaction for members.
Sarah Ashton, Public Relations Manager for Central England Co-operative said: “We are excited to be working with Dialogue on this new look and feel publication and content portal. When we were looking for a new partner and direction a key factor was making content work harder for us – that’s where Dialogue came into their own.”
Gavin Miller, Dialogue Managing Director, added: “Central England Co-operative is a great example of a business that puts the communities it serves right at the heart of its communication. Our own mission as a content agency is to help brands build communities through great content, keeping audiences informed, educated and entertained. We’re looking forward to working with the Central England Co-operative team to bring this vision to life in today’s fast-moving and multi-faceted world of content”.
